Hand-forged in the shop

Tooling made to order, by the man who wrote its standards.

Hot punches, slitters, and hammer & press tooling — forged one at a time to proven profiles, hardened and tempered, and shipped ready to work.

Proven profiles

Hot punches, slitters & struck tooling.

Geometry designed to release cleanly and hold up under the hammer — not so blunt they tear, not so sharp they stick. Struck ends dressed with a proper radius, tips tapered to work.

The same tooling Martin makes for his own shop and teaches apprentices to use.

Under the hammer

Heavy tooling, drawn out on the 1cwt Massey.

Press and power-hammer tooling forged the way it’s meant to be — enough mass behind each blow to move serious steel, then dressed by hand.
